Before Your Appointment
After Booking
Prior to your appointment, you will receive a confirmation text and parking/location information via email. If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to reach out.
With the exception of flash art, tattoo designs will be provided for viewing at the time of your appointment. Any small adjustments can be made to a custom drawing at that time, but anything very specific or the inclusion of specific aspects should be stated prior to the day of the appointment. Feel free to send any reference photos, details, or changes via email, as this will ensure all necessary details stay together for referencing when I go to draw your specific design.
Day of Appointment
On the day of your appointment, please respect my time (and other clients!) by being punctual and being prepared to commit to the entirety of your appointment time. Appointments are typically scheduled back-to-back, so running late or needing to leave early can affect my entire day’s schedule.
Suggested Appointment Preparations
For the most comfortable tattoo experience, be sure to show up to your appointment rested, hydrated, and having eaten a filling meal. Bringing snacks and water is helpful for longer sessions.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing with easy access to the area of placement. Feel free to bring headphones or a book!
Numbing Cream & Pain Relief
For body art, I do not recommend numbing cream. Not all numbing creams are created equal, nor will all skin types react safely to the numbing cream. In short, numbing creams can significantly change the way your skin accepts and retains tattoo ink, making the tattooing process much lengthier and more difficult in the long run.
I do have lidocaine-based sprays that I use during the tattooing process that help with taking the edge off the pain; however, the use of tattoo numbing creams prior to your appointment tend to have negative effects that ultimately outweigh the temporary ease of pain.
If you’re able, taking Extra-Strength Tylenol, as directed by your medical professional, can make the tattooing process a bit more comfortable. Please note: certain pain-relieving medications, such as Ibuprofen and Aspirin, have blood-thinning attributes and should be avoided for tattoo procedures.
Payment Methods
Cash or card is accepted for tattoo payment - whichever you prefer. Your booking deposit will be taken off the total cost of the tattoo.
